What Conspiracy Theory?

Now that I'm older, I find myself spending more time thinking when I'm in the shower. I've been thinking of what to blog about next, waiting for inspiration to hit me...and it did! At about 3 minutes, 33 seconds into the rinse cycle!

Conspiracy Theory! YESssssssssssssssssssssss!

Crewmember Ericswan mentioned something about us delving into conspiracy theories the other day. And last night I was watching "Banned from the Bible" on The History Channel (THC...hehe). And something I saw on that program stuck in my head: The subtopic being discussed in this segment of the show was the Book of Jubilees, a book that gives somewhat more detail to the Old Testament Book of Genesis, and pulls in some details from another enigma, the Book of Enoch with it's rich account of the Watchers and Giants in the land. Interesting stuff...to me and many of us here, though not seemingly related to space or science.

If you're a regular viewer of THC, you know that they drag out many of the same 'experts' for a given genre' of program. Many on this program have been in the programs on Decoding DaVinci or the Holy Grail. The usual suspects/debunkers were present here as well. But one expert's performance came to mind whilst in the shower... not so much what he said ("...Well, *chuckle* *chuckle*, it's clear why this was not included into the Biblical Canon *yuk* *yuk*...") but the body language and smirking involved, none of which made it clear why this book had not passed the biblical censor. And that was it? What's "clear" about this? Nothing, dammit!!!

This was what stuck in my mind...that this performance was typical of how conspiracy theories are 'explained' away by mass media... without anything ever being explained. And certainly not to my satisfaction especially given the gravity of the subject. C'mon! We're talking about the Bible here!!! People have died, been tortured and defamed because of the interpretations and exhortations listed in this work. which was compiled by men who needed to ensure the right doctrine was being published so as to ensure stability for those in power ! We're not just talking Area 51 or Free Energy or ETs or Who Killed JFK! It's the freaking BIBLE and effects human lives on a daily basis! Yet all it takes is a smirking no-name Doctor of Religion with the 'right' credentials to supposedly 'debunk' the issue for the viewing public? Nothing enrages me more.

Being an avid student of several conspiracy theories, there is another thing I hate. There are countless numbskulls who think it the height of wit to admonish anyone with a conspiracy theory that cannot be 'easily' debunked to "'go put on your aluminum foil hat". Well, on cool thing about an aluminum foil hat, is that it can be re-worked into a P-SHOD (Personal ShitHook of Death), used with impunity, then (after some cleansing) worked back into the hat shape, effectively and conspiratorily hiding the evidence of the brutal reaming of said numbskull!

Human beings have conspired together since time immemorial...Whether it's to get the best haunch of gazelle or to affect a coup d' etat for control of a superpower nation, it has happened and will continue to happen until "the next Big Bang", to quote Crypt0. Robert Heinlein (or maybe his fictional character Lazarus Long) said "Never underestimate the value of human stupidity". I would add to that ignorance, for as long as humans remain stupid or ignorant and fail to ask the right questions and demand the answers (be it in a public forum, or at the point of the sword), other humans will be able to realize success and profit and gain from all manner of conspiracy. Only the blind fail to see it happening around us daily, and on such a grand scale! Alas, there are so many blind among us.

The members of this 'crewe' do, and should, pride ourselves as being individuals who work to break the bonds of ignorance, to cast aside conventional wisdom when it is no longer wisdom, to "'stand on the shoulders of giants" who have gone before us and who stand beside us today ... to be able to see clearer and farther, the better to ask the 'right' questions and demand answers and accountability... all in the age-old quest for Truth!

Brrrrr...this water's getting cold and...HEY! WHERE'D IT GO?!?

I better get outta here!

This time I get to be first! To the new blog, I say, here, here! I get so tired of the smirking of the media. It isn't limited to self proclaimed experts on The History Channel, it can be as close and often more likely to come from your local media. Rare has been the coverage of a story that falls into the realm of conspiracy theory that is treated with any respect. Oh, wait a minute. Did I say rare? As I continue to think back, I cannot think of any media coverage in the mainstream that didn't treat this kind of subject matter without a wink and nod to go with the big smirk.

The mission, if we choose to accept it, is to find a way to counter those who want us to get out our tinfoil hats with a response that is intelligent without becoming overly emotional. But it's a bit like tilting at windmills, but if the windmill is the target...

Speaking of conspiracy theories, I'm starting to wonder if the original TEM site should be the subject of its own conspiracy theory. The linking to JAXA and getting the Japanese language site makes me wonder if RCH wants someone to independently translate the text to do an end run around the kind of "editing" that would obscure the real data. Anyone know Japanese or know of a good translation site?

The original Captain's Blog seems to go further and further down the screen. I wonder if the silence is intended to enhance the mystery? If RCH offered a token apology for the absence would that lessen interest in TEM because many might think that there's nothing new here and not "stay tuned"? That wouldn't work for me, because I keep looking in anyway, but its hard to not keep wondering what's going on over there.

I've been looking at the raw Iapetus pics (the ones that show Iapetus as being transparent). I just remembered a famous quote from "2001: A Space Odessey", by Arthur C. Clarke. As David Bowman is looking at the monolith on Iapetus, just before he gets pulled into the "Star Gate", his last transmission is...

"The thing's hollow...it goes on forever, and, oh my God, it's full of stars!"

In the article it says that between 1/3 and 2/3 of the population believes in aliens, and that same group thinks that they're visiting Earth.

My question is this...IF THE MAJORITY OF THE HUMAN RACE BELIEVES THAT WE'RE BEING VISITED BY ALIENS, WHY DOES THE GOVERNMENT STILL KEEP THE TRUTH FROM US???!

God

Aliens
etc. etc.

How about YOU and ME?
Are we here I mean are we really here?

My best guess is, we are here. Are the aliens here? Is God here?
That all depends on what you think the meaning of "is" is.

Oooh, you bounder, you cheat! Such resounding scorn for a man who just couldn't resist acting out on some juvenile ambition to be the first in line showing the Smirk-SHOD to all those behind! LOLOL!!!! Sorry sunking, couldn't resist. :)

Onto the topic, the religious establishment has for 1500 plus years told us when, where, how and why to worship their way. They have threatened us with eternal damnation amongst other things. We have been given nothing from the Church (fill in your brand here) that has allowed any type of growth. It affects the spritual as well as any approach we make to science. Just look at the evolution vs. creationist thing going on. The meddling of church in my life has shown me nothing but the same political bs that occurs in the secular world. Even when the best intentioned show their real side, it comes down to business. They debunk any attempts at the truth to protect their business and the profits that go along with it.
Any man is free to choose his own path IMO. But the closed mindedness that almost all theologians of any type display is nothing but a stifling of human growth in any form. They debunk and pull us further from ourselves and any growth we might make. I personally can not believe a word they have to say because the hand of man created the text that they say is the word of God. Just take a look at who Eusebius was and what he was about.

Bingo on Eusibious, Wayne! He played prominent on the THC show last night.

John,
The Church would be one reason for government not formally recognizing Aliens. They fear the loss of revenue and powerbase.

Government also fears what would happen to 'our way of life', cherished as it is. Face it...a giant Alien SHOD lands of the White House Lawn, or the Kremlin, or.....whatever. You gonna go to work the next day? If not, when you going to go back? Guess it depends of what the little green men say?

But Big Bidness cannot control what the LGM would say, and that might eat into profits and production.

What if the LGM say "look, this is the way, the truth and the light...you no longer need your government, live free, love long and prosper" (Catchy, eh?) Well, anybody gooing to contribute to their senator's campaign war chest...or even both to go vote? Hey, these LGMs just might eat into their power base, their rock-star following.

Oh, dere be a whole lotta reasons why da gubmint ain't talkin', youth!

Sunking...excellent post.

Giants, "The Nephilim", Watchers, physical and supernatural
beings that all call out for that 'first contact' scenario.

I'm going to try and get a copy of Graham Hancock's new book
"Supernatural: Meetings with the Ancient Teachers of Mankind"

(see http://communities.anomalies.net/cgi-bin/bbs/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=25;t=007596 )

The basic premise being that we have been meeting with "Aliens"
for thousands, if not millions of years, whether you count
the Aliens as being physical AND/OR meta-physical (supernatural).

John Mack was in this territory with his book "Passport to the
Cosmos"...that a lot of "Aliens" are actually supernatural
"spirits" if you will...this doe'snt make them any less real.

Which leads me to my current 'satori', insight of the moment:
"Does anyone actually watch Star Trek?". I could swear it all
just dissappears down some brain black-hole and everyone just
carries on as before. DUH! There ARE "alien" nations to contact
out there ON THIS PLANET...but I don't hear of many expeditions.
Who's signing up for my expedition ?

While the blindness goes on around us (as you say Sunking) I
suspect these "Biblical Aliens" are Watching on...so take
a moment and FEEL...your're on Alien TV tonite! ;-)

PS Anyone remember the band The Nephilim who hung out in Cowboy
gear and sung about the Bible and Sumerians..mmmmm?

Those are good reasons, but I think you might be exaggerating a bit...

Here's my view of the best-case scenario...Alien ship(s) appear(s) over Washington D.C. They announce that they come in peace (As long as they don't want "To Serve Man"[an old "Twilight Zone episode], in which case we should blast the heck outta them), and that they want to be our friends. Since 1/3-2/3 of the population believes in aliens, the shock SHOULD be minimal. The aliens offer us (by "us", I mean humanity, not just the U.S.) the technology to make intersteller (and possibly intergalactic) travel possible. They also don't interfere with our government, or dictate policy...

Child molestors and beaters can go too. Any spandex-wearing woman with pink hair that's overweight and get tatoo's to look 'hotter'...off they go too.

That will start things off.

Regarding John's best case scenario comments about alien contact: Because we are humans we tend to ascribe our own motives and wishes on what aliens would do if they decide to officially "first contact" us. But it is entirely possible that they think in such an "alien" manner that none of our concepts are their concepts and they conduct themselves in whatever manner they see fit. We might have the same use as cattle and it doesn't matter to them what we think or want.

I'm not saying that's what they're doing, but it's something to consider.Though with the animal mutilations and the abductions it is not hard to look at things that way.

Since the topic is about the media's treatment of conspiracy theories, has anyone else noticed an increasing hostility towards those who report alien abductions? If I come across links, I'll post them, but it seems to me in different web and other media sources that there seems to be a berating attitude towards anyone who says they were subjected to the extraterrestial healthcare system...

Well, OSOTOP, as chief 'mutineer'/enabler/lackey I would not SAY those things. If some feel that is true, so mote it be, but in my first and 2nd blogs I stated that my intentions were 'honorable' and only with the good of TEM and the 'crewe' in mind. I meant that then and stand by it.

Now...taking off that hat, should popular opinion think that we should move on, honorably severing the close association with TEM (i.e. the hijacked blog faceplate) and should I be called upon to administer (not necessarliy skipper, I am not worthy) a new vessel with a new, unique flavor to it, I would not be adverse to it.

But in this role I currently serve under, your statement is much to seditious for ME to make. I DO hope you understand!

Great topic, Sunking!
I think that shower you were in was squirting holy water and you recieved a revelation !
The manner in which the books of the Bible were selected has been a primary burr in my saddle, as far as my relationship with "the church" (not Christ) is concerned. If you can find a preacher who will discuss this matter in a rational way without having the elder board vote you out of the church, he would probably say that these books (Enoch, Jubilees, etc.) were not included because they were not "spiritually inspired". If you then ask why they aren't and you're STILL not kicked out of the church , he might say "because they never talk about God or Jesus". A good example of this would be the 1st and 2nd books of "Maccabees". The Maccabeean rebellion is an important part of Old Testament history, but the presently accepted versions of the fundamentalist Protestant bibles do not contain them , supposedly because they don't talk about God and miracles and Jesus and are therefore not "spiritually inspired". (Catholic bibles do not seem to have this problem, however. The Maccabee texts ARE boringly factual, from what I have read.)The preacher might even say that it is OK to read them, even though they are not canonical, just for background information. The Bible is already big enough, he might say, and they need something managable for believers to deal with.
Stupid reasons ? Yes, and even people in high positions in the churches may have concealed anger and frustration about this.
But, this does not explain why books like Enoch are not included. After all, Genesis says that Enoch walked with God so closely that God decided to remove him from the Earth and he never experienced physical death. Now, it seems to me that this would be a fairly spiritual guy ! Yet, only a very few verses are there to tell us about him, because of this censorship.
Dr. Gene Scott used to rant on this topic unceasingly. We really need another heretical "Max Headroom" of the religious airwaves to get on there and stir the pot once again.
FYI, here is a link to a sight that seems to be fairly meaty on this subject matter:

In case that comment was meant for me, no offense taken. I'm not questioning the Captain, the bridge or the engines. Mainly just the communication systems. It is like any number of original Star Trek episodes in which Captain Kirk or someone says something really odd to let the others know something is wrong or that this is something they need to pay attention to in a significant way. Posting the Japanese link instead of an English "translation" link seems to be such a "message". I think it's worth paying attention to.

SWORD, hello

Thank you for such a complete response. Much to think about.
I know in this flow, some threads don't cause an immediate stir of attention but nonetheless, you have spoken a truth that will "sink in", as my "calling you out" at this point might demonstrate.
As well, as Sunking kindly recalled my earlier nudge pertaining to the Capt. and his Mo at his home TEM site concerning the almost trivial(at first glance) new postings he put up, other crew have now picked up a couple of new thoughts pertaining to that idea of a imbedded cue from RCH.
In that example, perhaps just a little time delay to "zone in" on things, is what sometimes occurs as in your case.
I sympathize with you, if you didn't get quite the outcome that was sought, from the Capt. here or the crew in response. Primary point though is message received. You know it was read by all. What else would there be to do anyway?
If you are independent, then I don't want to keep "outing" you to the attention of the likes of our Governmental eejits and surely thats what they are as political postings.

So, you are highly skilled and very "flexible", what are you tasked to do? Are you going to be the guy who has to hop over to the big'uns and plant the "devices" necessary? Now don't tell me your the food guy!?!#@$ lol :)

Re: The Star of Crossing-do you know if the main planet broke up or is the debris from a number of the moons? Richard previously had hinted at archeology in the asteroids, and my hunch is they lost Niburu.

You have hinted a few times at the story of Lapetus and "The Moon With A View-Part 7". So whats up with that?
Was that the Ark for the gang if they had to leave Niburu/Marduk? A place to house themselves when their planet broke up, perhaps?

I hear you, RCH may have gone silent or absent and may not be fullfilling his role as you have said earlier a few times, so we'll just wait together for Dec 10th,2005 and see who lets it out, eh?

fyi: my father who was first a Sabre Pilot, said they used to call the F86 , the Sword.
Cool eh!?

I have to offer this funny for a little levity today.

RCMP to the rescue:

After numerous rounds of "We don't even know if Osama is still alive,"
Osama himself decided to send George W. a letter in his own handwriting to let him know he was still in the game. Bush opened the letter and it appeared to contain a coded message: 370HSSV-0773H

Bush was baffled, so he e-mailed it to Colin Powell. Colin and his
aides had no clue either so they sent it to the FBI. No one could solve it so it went to the CIA, on then to the NASA, then to the
Secret Service.

With no clue as to it's meaning, they eventually asked Canada's RCMP for help. The RCMP cabled the White House as follows:

"Tell the President he is looking at the message upside down"

Hi Hi Hi Hi Hi lol :) lmao

Hi all,

First, I hope everyone had a very enjoyable and SAFE holiday.

Now, some recent news:

JPL Lay-offs Announced:

From an internal memo:
When: 10 Dec 2005
Number: 330 subcontractors, contractors, and employees from various divisions.

Another round, if necessary, TBA January 2006. This is in compliance with an additional 2% across-the-board NASA imposed lay-off to off-set hurricane Katrina recovery costs and budgetary shortfall.

NEO Conference:

Some excerpts:

Currently one or two of these so called 'Near Earth Objects' [NEOs] are being recorded each day but fortunately for humankind the vast majority are the size of a human fist and pose no threat. Nevertheless, the presence of large impact craters on Earth provides dramatic evidence of past collisions, some of which have been catastrophic for the planet's species

Many of the smaller objects break up when they reach Earth's atmosphere and have no impact. However, a NEO larger than 1 km will collide with Earth every few hundred thousand years and an NEO larger than 6 km, which could cause a mass extinction, will collide with Earth every hundred million years. And we are overdue for a big one!"

It is estimated that 100 fist sized meteorites, fragments of NEO's, fall to Earth on a daily basis but larger objects impact with Earth on a much less regular basis.

The European Space Agency's NEO Mission Advisory Panel (NEOMAP) has selected "Don Quixote" as their preferred option for an asteroid deflecting test mission. Don Quixote would comprise two spacecraft - one of them (Hildalgo) would impact the asteroid at a very high relative speed while the second spacecraft (Sancho) would arrive earlier to monitor the effect of the impact to measure the variation of the asteroid's orbital parameters. This attempt to deflect an incoming NEO would act as a precursor mission with the primary objective of modifying the trajectory of a "non-threatening" asteroid.

Bohemia,
Maybe we should use Tesla technology to modulate the shape of the ionosphere and effectively change the angle of attack against the solar wind as the Earth moves through it. Perhaps by offseting the frequency of the generator just slightly from that of the fundamental Schuman Resonance (7.5 Hz), we could create a beat frequency in the ionosphere that would correspondingly modulate the bulge in the ionosphere in a traveling wave fashion, so as to allow it to act as a motor and cause the Earth to "swim" through the solar wind in predictable directions, thereby avoiding some of the asteroids.

The Fountains of Enceladus

Recent Cassini images of Enceladus at high phase show the fountain-like sources of the fine spray of material that towers above the south polar region of Enceladus. The image was taken looking more or less broadside at the 'tiger stripe' fractures observed in earlier Enceladus images and shows discrete and small-scale plumes above the limb of the moon.

Spray Above Enceladus

A fine spray of small, icy particles, emanating from the warm, geologically unique province surrounding the south pole of Enceladus and believed now to supply the material comprising Saturn's E ring, was first observed in images taken back on Jan. 16, 2005. Images of a crescent Enceladus returned by Cassii this past weekend show multiple plumes in striking detail.

Thank you for such a complete response. Much to think about.

Hopefully, hopefully, come SITRO (Somewhere In The Range Of…) of 10 Dec 05, we will ALL have a lot to talk about.

IonTruO2 said...
I know in this flow, some threads don't cause an immediate stir of attention but nonetheless, you have spoken a truth that will "sink in", as my "calling you out" at this point might demonstrate.

Sword:
Indeed – the more we start thinking about the “star of crossing” and it true implications – the better off we will be.

IonTruO2 said...

Sword:
It certainly seems that after all, Rich is well. That’s a good thing. I am thinking that he was moved around to avoid any harassment, by members of a larger flock; Similar to Robert, which, I wonder, how he is doing by the way.
Silenced? Gagged? Call it what you will, but the TEM blog space is getting quite some bit of attention. Almost to much attention if you ask some folk.
As involved as he is with his fan base – and as involved as he is in other things – I believe that he is laying low before he drops the final chapter of his article series – “The Moon with a view”.

IonTruO2 said...
I sympathize with you, if you didn't get quite the outcome that was sought, from the Capt. here or the crew in response. Primary point though is message received. You know it was read by all. What else would there be to do anyway?

Sword:
My problem is I am much to impatient, and early. This, I am almost, certain was caused by a certain article Rich had written earlier with capitalized word that said DISCLOSURE. It was a catalyst that started other things in motion. This article was written SITRO 3 years ago. He was most likely right on time with that and I was either slow or early… …
I am certain that my postings added fuel to the fire as he gathered evidence from the blogg – and through quiet code – he found a book I was looking for. I am hoping that I found the books he was for. I response I am looking for should come, soon. It’s a matter of time… …

Re: The Star of Crossing-do you know if the main planet broke up or is the debris from a number of the moons? Richard previously had hinted at archeology in the asteroids, and my hunch is they lost Niburu.

Sword:
I am sure that there is one or two sites – that are known – that do have remnants of what could be considered “archeology”. The hints I assume you are referring to are contained in some of Richards early articles. I can remember one such article that had a Disney Special (guest star – Van Braun himself) and a, hmmmm, “Viewmaster” slide?

IonTruO2 said...
You have hinted a few times at the story of Lapetus and "The Moon With A View-Part 7". So whats up with that?
Was that the Ark for the gang if they had to leave Niburu/Marduk? A place to house themselves when their planet broke up, perhaps?

Sword:
Lapetus an ark for what?
Consider the S.S. Minnow (Gillgan’s Islands) – it had a three foot hole in it that no one could fix. Regardless of the fact that the professor could create a nuclear reactor out of a coconut to keep a radio running – they couldn’t fix the dam boat.
In comes Lapetus.
I believe that when Niburu/Marduk (which one of those is the star of crossing is STILL up for debate) got destroyed – for whatever reason – there boat got a three foot hole in it in the process – rendering it a floating carcass. In comes Mesopotamian history – with the star of crossing.
The star of crossing is THEIR ARK, the last vestige of THEIR culture/civilization – and in which then they created US in THEIR image. We did the dirty work – they created their own rowboats and paddled away – and left us holding the empty bag.
Why leave?
Because they knew that the solar system was going to be so shot out by debris from THEIR last planet that it would be far better for them to leave than deal with the after math. Consider the unmolested debris as it throws itself into a fanning orbit through the solar system. Its going to be cosmic bowling and comets galore after it passes through “gods bracelet”… …
Hello humanity – Goodbye Humanity.
There is some “Truth in ancient solar system history 101” for those who are listening.

This is what I'm reading about. I want to thrust this onto pollyanna John

I personally would like to see a rerun of the "Lone Gunmen" pilot episode that showed a government faction hijacking an airliner by remote control with the intention of crashing it into the World Trade Center - the motive being to blame it on a tinpot dictator, resulting in an invasion of said dictator's country in order to ramp up arms sales. Sound familiar?

That episode was aired SIX MONTHS BEFORE 9/11 - and before Condi Rice said, "Gee, nobody would have guessed terrorists would do that!"

Right, Condi, we know you're too busy to watch Fox Television...

Posted by: richardstevenhack
--------------------------------

Richard, you can download the entire Pilot from here and watch on your PC:

http://xenonpuppy.net/The%20Lone%20Gunmen%20-%201x01%20-%20Pilot.avi

Number of 9/11 elements identical or sufficiently similar to the broadcast episode: 8

City: New York, NY
War-game scenarios: Operation Northwood’s, 5 military and FEMA drills on 9-11.
Target: World Trade Center, civilian airline
Method: Attack with remote controlled civilian airline
Motive: Arms Sales
Starting point: Boston Logan
Blamed parties: Tin-pot dictators.
Intended Result: False flag retaliatory war, smart bombing, arms sales.

Do you care to figure out the mathematical odds of a TV episode containing eight of the major unique characteristics of the attacks on 9/11? Is eight unique characteristics enough for you to begin to cast greater doubt upon the government’s version of the attacks and who is to blame? Or maybe you might want to believe that Osama bin Laden and his Al Qaeda minions viewed that episode and a lightbulb went off and he got the plans rolling, got the financing, got the volunteers and them positioned and trained to fly with only a few months preparation. You buy that?

Latest update I have found on the Hayabusa/Itokawa mission.
Also I looked at the Enterprise Mission web site top Hayabusa link to the
Japanese version, and scrolled down to find there is quite a bit of rough English translation, which covers some of the same info in the NewScientist article.

I also jumped from the above NewScientist page to the story from 26 Nov, and the mention of "six-metre craft" that I copied and pasted the other night is now missing from the article.
Kinda makes you go "Hmmmmmm?" :)

BTW, the difference between 6 meters and 19.5 feet is only 2.2 inches.

Someone had a comment the other day about Russian Bear and how a Canadian fighter plane could fly circles around it. The "Bear" is a propellor plane and a rather large and lunky bomber, although from the context of the comment it was probably configured as a reconnaissance plane. The name "bear" is the NATO designation and not the Russian name for the plane. Bombers are given a name that begins with "B" and fighters are given names that bein with "F". Further, the designation is one sylable for prop planes and two sylables for jets, e.g. Flogger, Fishback, Fitter are MiG jet fighters.

This is a bit of an historical anecdote that has never been revealed. It concerns the meteorite that fell here in North East Alberta 10,000 years ago.. What you say? How do you know it fell here 10,000 years ago.

A Methodist Missionary by the name of John McDougall came to Alberta in 1842. He brought his family to Morleyville, Alberta and set up a missionary to convert the native Indians in the region. Somehow, he found out about the icons of real Native significance and in an expedition of 1878, he travelled to the site of a stone called Manitou by the Native Indian population. They had described a stone as extraordinariy heavy and had the face of a chief on it. The myth of Manitou according to many sources including McDougall is that Manitou came to earth at a time when there was a general famine due to the lack of buffalo. When this sign in the skies occured the medicine men took it to be a sign from the Creator. They set out from all corners of North America in a quest to see what this sign was. As it turns out, the Manitou stone was found in "Iron" Creek and the people who followed it there found a huge herd of buffalo which may have also followed the star to this location but that is a bit of speculation on my part. The fact is the Manitou stone was taken from the bed of the creek to the top of the bluff where it stayed until McDougall arrived with his ox bow cart. He removed the meteorite to his church grounds a distance of several hundred miles. He pointed out to the natives that this "god" of theirs was not much of a god and left it laying out in the yard for a rebuke to the Natives. This trek took place in the spring of 1878 and 10 years later, the natives had been converted and Manitou was shipped out to Toronto, Ontario on the recently completed CPR.
In 1942 an archaeological team led by Worthington, went to the Castor, Alberta site on the banks of Iron Creek and started an excavation at the site of Manitou's creek side perch. Here, they found layer upon layer of stone implements dating back 10,000 years. Worthington did not make note of the fact this was the original site of the Manitou.

Manitou itself turned out to be meteorite 1905A the largest ever discovered in Canada.
It has been recovered back to Edmonton, Alberta on loan from the University of Toronto. It does have a very clear face in it for which I have 1 photograph. Being roughly the size of a very large head and weighing nearly 500 pounds and having run my fingers over it makes one wonder at the nature of this universe. The picture I have is in a frame. I will eventually take it down and scan it to my blog.
My information came from the first white girl born in Alberta. Her name is Eleanor Luxton the great grandaughter of John McDougall.

the government version of Manitou

LOCATION OF FIND: A hill near Iron Creek, a tributary of the Battle River, in the area of present-day Sedgewick, Alberta.
DATE: First reported in 1869.

DESCRIPTION: An irregular squat cone about 22 cm high, 56 cm in diameter. The Iron Creek meteorite was weighed again in June 1999 and registered 145.25 kg. Ron Messieux believes the original weight of 175 kg to be an error.

CLASSIFICATION: Iron - IIIA - Medium octahedrite.

CIRCUMSTANCES: When the meteorite was first reported, it was in the farmyard of the mission house at Fort Victoria, some 100 km northeast of what was then Fort Edmonton. It had been taken there from Iron Creek, about 250 km to the south.

For countless generations, this iron meteorite had been greatly venerated by the native people. They saw the features of a face in the markings of its surface, and they made it offerings of beads and knives before setting out on hunts. When it was removed, they feared dire consequences which, as the accompanying report relates, did come to be.

CURRENT HOUSING: The entire meteorite is at the Provincial Museum of Alberta, Edmonton.

this last little bit on Manitou and I'll let it go..

Excerpt

In the farmyard of the mission-house there lay a curious block of metal of immense weight; it was rugged, deeply indented, and polished on the outer edges of the indentations by the wear and friction of many years. Its history was a curious one. Longer than any man could say, it had laid on the summit of a hill far out in the southern prairies. It had been a medicine-stone of surpassing virtue among the Indians over a vast territory. No tribe or portion of a tribe would pass in the vicinity without paying a visit to this great medicine: it was said to be increasing yearly in weight. Old men remembered having heard old men say that they had once lifted it easily from the ground. Now, no single man could carry it. And it was no wonder that this metallic stone should be a Manito-stone and an object of intense veneration to the Indian; it had come down from heaven; it did not belong to the earth, but had descended out of the sky; it was, in fact, an aerolite. Not very long before my visit this curious stone had been removed from the hill upon which it had so long rested and brought to the Mission of Victoria by some person from that place. When the Indians found that it had been taken away, they were loud in the expression of their regret. The old medicine-men declared that its removal would lead to great misfortunes, and that war, disease, and dearth of buffalo would afflict the tribes of the Saskatchewan. This was not a prophecy made after the occurrence of the plague of smallpox, for in a magazine published by the Wesleyan Society in Canada there appears a letter from the missionary, setting forth the predictions of the medicine-men a year prior to my visit. The letter concludes with an expression of thanks that their evil prognostications had not been attended with success. But a few months later brought all the three evils upon the Indians; and never, probably, since the first trader had reached the country had so many afflictions of war, famine, and plague fallen upon the Crees and the Blackfeet as during the year which succeeded the useless removal of their Manito-stone from the lone hill-top upon which the skies had cast it.

Hi all...

Biological_unit, I had forgotten all about "The Lone Gunman" (I only saw 1 or 2 episodes, and it wasn't on for very long...). I DO seem to remember (vaguely) hearing about an episode like you discribed. I tried to download it from that link, but it said the file didn't exist (which is strangely funny)...

Did anyone hear the 1st hour of C2C earlier this morning? They were talking about the Canadian UFO thing (which apparently is gaining more attention in the media, or so I heard). Sunking, remember your best-case scenario...?

"SunKing said...
My best-case scenario...

LGM land on White House lawn...entire Bush Administration and every crooked politician (*ALL), businessman, religious leader get sucked up... a la visions of the Rapture...except instead of heaven they end up in The Sandy-KY Eternal Home for Buggery. Child molestors and beaters can go too. Any spandex-wearing woman with pink hair that's overweight and get tatoo's to look 'hotter'...off they go too.

That will start things off."

Also, starshipconstellation, you said...

"Regarding John's best case scenario comments about alien contact: Because we are humans we tend to ascribe our own motives and wishes on what aliens would do if they decide to officially "first contact" us. But it is entirely possible that they think in such an "alien" manner that none of our concepts are their concepts and they conduct themselves in whatever manner they see fit. We might have the same use as cattle and it doesn't matter to them what we think or want."

Now, I'm NOT gloating or bragging, simply reporting what I heard, and if any of this is inaccurate, please tell me, but the guest in the 1st hour wasn't predicting anything CLOSE to what you 2 predicted for a scenario, yet it was VERY close to my best-case scenario. He said that the aliens want to open diplomatic ties with us, and he was concerned about the Air Force shooting down UFOs (Although, every report of UFO intercepts that I've read shows that the planes can't even keep up with a ship, and that it zooms off before they get a positive ID.), because we might accidentally start a war...

Gloat? Brag? About WHAT?

Obviously, my best-case scenario was meant for comedic effect.

More Importantly, what makes you think the guy on C2C has any more idea on what ET would do than you or me or anybody walking down the street? Face it, he's like your minister telling you that you and your fellows will die and go to heaven...He has no REAL idea at all and no proof whatsoever!

And reading the space.com article about the universe expanding faster than thought...think about this: everytime we have explored the planets and moons, all of our previous ideas about "what is what" have been blown away.

People can talk a lot of BS, but face it...we have no way of knowing until we've been there and come back to tell about it!! Even then, ......

My nagging question is: If 911 in the New york example was a planned "Demolition" of sorts. then to what end? Just an easier eviction? Like New Orleans.
Why would they want to down those various buildings? To rebuild safer or more modern? Outside of the contrived drama for the other agendas, was it perhaps, a twisted strategy of Urban Renewal in a colossal city that might not "welcome" some radical "improvements"? Was the realestate that valuable there?

Just some musings.

iontru02,
Go back a bit. Google 'PNAC', Project for the New American Century. This org is financed by Right-wingers (one of which was the very last company in the US to allow hiring of minorities and fought it to the bitter end), Intel types and MIlitary/Industrial Complex representatives. I looked into it and researched myself!

See 'Rebuilding America's Defenses'. This was commissioned by Cheney, written by Wolfowitz and Kristol. In it is the premise for the Pax Americana and the blueprint for the situation we find ourselves in today. In it you will also find the references to a new "Pearl Harbor'. Look at it, gang, it's all there, some between the lines, but easily recognizable.

This document espouses the need to have a wider range of pre-placed military in foreign locations, especially near the 'hot spots', both for force projection and to ensure that we can take action without having to deal with buereaucratic red tape and enjoy the freedom of having pre-positioned troops and assets. With this in mind, is it any surprise that there has been no hurry to leave Iraq, that in 2003 everyone was shruggin their shoulders saying "What plan? We don't have an after-war plan?". BULL! There are rooms full of plans in the Pentagon and trainloads of military officers standing around with nothing to do BUT plan! What lies!

In that 9/11 fit perfectly the aims, goals and modus operandi of this plan is damning. In that 9/11 has served to enrich the right-wing power base politically and the supporters of this plan (MI Complex, Big Energy) fiscally, is damning. In that members of PNAC now hold high office and wield concomitant power (e.g. Wolfowitz - President of the World Bank, Bolton - US Ambassador to the UN) is damning.

One factoid about this Cheney-led cabal...when Dubya was first mentioned as a candidate for President, there was great dissent among the 'party faithful'. It was only after Cheney was propped up as potential Vice President that there was a collective sigh of relief and things moved forward. Bush if the beard, the face, the Jacksonian-style "man of the people" (BS!)...Cheney, walking the halls of power for 25 years mostly in unelected positions, is the true power, intelligence-wise and ideologically and the real man to fear.

There are those who think that the results of Cheney's energy task force meeting were the trigger to order the 911 attacks - TB2012

Document Says Oil Chiefs Met With Cheney Task Force

Can oil production satisfy rising demand?

By David J. Lynch
USA TODAY
http://www.usatoday.com/money/industries/energy/2005-11-24-peak-oil-usat_x.htm

In accordance with Title 17 U.S.C. Section 107, this material is distributed without profit to those who have expressed a prior interest in receiving the included information for research and educational purposes.

WASHINGTON — Energy Secretary Samuel Bodman has asked a high-level advisory board to answer one of the toughest questions dogging the U.S. economy: Can world oil production meet steadily rising demand?

In a previously unreleased Oct. 5 letter to ExxonMobil CEO Lee Raymond, chairman of the National Petroleum Council, Bodman asked for a study of the industry's ability to produce enough oil and natural gas at prices that won't cripple the economy.

"He's asked them to take a big-picture look out several years. ... He wants to get some definitive information," says Craig Stevens, an Energy Department spokesman.

The most noteworthy aspect of Bodman's request is a reference to the "peak oil" debate. At issue: the claim by a vocal minority of energy experts that the world is at, or near, maximum oil production.

That doesn't mean the world is running out of oil. But as booming economies in China and India boost demand, and production levels off, prices will rise. "Oil isn't a concept. It needs to be discovered and produced," says Matthew Simmons, author of a recent book questioning the extent of Saudi Arabia's oil reserves.

Avoiding economic turmoil will require more than a decade of "intense, expensive effort," according to a February study by Science Applications International for the Energy Department. The U.S. would need to build alternative fuel plants and greatly increase vehicle fuel efficiency.

"If peaking is imminent, failure to initiate timely mitigation could be extremely damaging," the report warned.

Many oil industry figures scoff at the peak oil theory, saying rising prices will spur exploration. The International Energy Agency last month agreed, saying oil reserves in the Middle East are "relatively underexploited and are sufficient to meet rising global demand for the next quarter-century and beyond."

Some also doubt that consumption will rise in line with current forecasts of 2% annual growth. China's economy could stumble and American consumers could ditch their gas-guzzlers for more-efficient vehicles. "People will react. They're not going to keep doing what they're doing," says Jim Parkman, an investment banker at Petrie Parkman in Houston.

But the debate is affecting oil company marketing. A Chevron ad asks: "The world consumes two barrels of oil for every barrel discovered. So is this something you should be worried about?"

The NPC study is intended to answer that question. The roster of the 175-member body, created in 1947 by President Truman, reads like a "who's who" of the petroleum industry. The council is chaired by Raymond, CEO of the nation's largest oil company.

That causes Simmons to doubt whether the NPC will endorse the peak oil camp. But Rep. Roscoe Bartlett, R-Md., who met with President Bush this summer to urge government action, says: "Any thinking person has to recognize at some point the world is going to face a crisis."

Platinum Rises to 25-Year High

Above $1,000 an Ounce, on Growth in Demand

In accordance with Title 17 U.S.C. Section 107, this material is distributed without profit to those who have expressed a prior interest in receiving the included information for research and educational purposes.

Nov. 28 (Bloomberg) -- Platinum in New York rose above $1,000 an ounce for the first time since 1980 amid speculation that demand for the metal used in pollution-control devices will keep rising.

Production will fall short of demand this year by 120,000 ounces, forcing manufacturers and jewelers to dig deeper into inventories, Johnson Matthey Plc, the largest platinum-group metals distributor, said Nov. 15. Fuel-emission regulations are being tightened in both the U.S. and Europe.

“Platinum is likely to remain in deficit over the next few years” because of demand from carmakers, Robin Bahr, an analyst at UBS AG in London, said in an e-mail today.

Platinum futures for January delivery rose $16.80, or 1.7 percent, to $1,001.10 an ounce on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Prices earlier reached $1,011 an ounce, the highest for a most- active contract since March 12, 1980, according to the exchange. Platinum, up 16 percent this year, reached $1,189.50 on March 5, 1980, the highest since trading started in 1956.

Use of platinum, which is used as a catalyst to reduce air pollution from exhaust, will grow 8.4 percent to a record 3.86 million ounces this year as clean-air laws boost demand, Johnson Matthey said. European demand for diesel cars, which can only use platinum in catalytic converters, has surged because the fuel is cheaper than gasoline. Almost 50 percent of new cars bought in Europe this year will be diesel-fueled, Johnson Matthey said.

Diesel Engines

“Diesel demand in Europe is still very healthy, with diesel- fueled cars now making up almost half of all new cars in Europe,” Wolfgang Wrzesniok-Rossbach, the head of marketing and sales at Heraeus Holding GmbH, a precious-metals processor based in Hanau, Germany, said.

Mack Trucks Inc., based in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and Gothenburg, Sweden-based Volvo AB are among companies planning to install catalysts in diesel-powered commercial vehicles to meet U.S. regulations that come into force in 2007.

Platinum output is growing slower than expected after an explosion at Anglo Platinum Ltd.’s Polokwane smelter in South Africa. Anglo Platinum, the world’s biggest producer of the metal, said in September production this year will be 2.45 million ounces, down from a July forecast of 2.6 million ounces.

Prices for palladium, which is also used in some auto catalysts, have plunged as platinum has gained. Palladium rose to a record $1,125 an ounce in 2001, encouraging carmakers to switch to platinum. Platinum traded at $632 an ounce in 2001.

The surplus in palladium will narrow to 650,000 ounces from 1.4 million ounces in 2004 because of reduced shipments from Russia, according to Johnson Matthey.

Palladium futures for March delivery rose $1.20, or 0.5 percent, to $266.90 an ounce on the Nymex. Prices have gained 44 percent this year.

Massachusetts in energy deal with Venezuela

Deal provides discounted oil to needy in state

The Associated Press
Nov. 22, 2005
http://msnbc.msn.com/id/10157028/

In accordance with Title 17 U.S.C. Section 107, this material is distributed without profit to those who have expressed a prior interest in receiving the included information for research and educational purposes.

QUINCY, Mass. - Venezuelan officials signed a deal Tuesday to ship 12 million gallons (45 million liters) of discounted home heating oil to poor Americans in Massachusetts as part of plan by Venezuelan leader Hugo Chavez to help needy U.S. communities.

The fuel is being offered by Citgo Petroleum Corp., a subsidiary of Venezuela's state-owned oil company which runs roughly 16,000 gas stations in the U.S.

U.S. Rep. William Delahunt, who helped broker the deal, called the agreement "an expression of humanitarianism at its very best," and rejected criticism that the move was motivated by politics. Chavez often blames the plight of the poor on unbridled capitalism and had criticized U.S. President George W. Bush's government for failing to reduce poverty.

"This is a gesture about people," said Delahunt, a Democrat.

Delahunt said the agreement could set an example for U.S. oil companies. Congressional leaders have asked the companies to use some of their profits to fund heating fuel assistance programs for low-income residents.

"I just hope that this sends a message, and that other oil companies will step and help also," Delahunt said.

Reducing costs?
Chavez announced the idea of offering fuel directly to poor U.S. communities during a visit to Cuba in August. He has said the aim is to bypass middlemen to reduce costs for the American poor.

The plan to provide low-cost heating oil to poor communities in Massachusetts and also the Bronx in New York City is "eminently a political move," said Patrick Esteruelas, an analyst with the New York-based Eurasia Group.

He said it is a way for Venezuela to "compromise the White House position within the U.S." and emphasize what Chavez has long cited as the failings of U.S. policy.

The initiative is part of a larger effort by Chavez to use Venezuela's surging oil wealth to extend the country's influence and create an alternative to what he calls U.S. "imperialism" in the region.

Chavez says he is leading a socialist "revolution" and has become one Bush's strongest critics in Latin America.

Close ally with Castro
The Venezuelan president has sought to strengthen alliances by offering oil deals to countries across Latin America and the Caribbean, shipping fuel on preferential terms while offering low-interest loans and accepting partial payment in goods ranging from bananas to sugar.

Chavez, a close ally of Cuban leader Fidel Castro, has repeatedly accused the U.S. government of plotting to overthrow him -- allegations firmly denied by Washington.

At the same time, Venezuela remains a major supplier of fuel to the United States and provided about 12 percent of U.S. crude imports in September, the last month for which U.S. figures are available.

Chavez has sought to decrease that dependency, seeking new markets in China and elsewhere for Venezuelan oil.

The South American country, which has the largest conventional oil reserves outside the Middle East, is the world's No. 5 oil exporter and a founding member of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries.

“The number of unsold homes was the highest since April 1986.”

U.S. Existing Home Sales Fall More Than Forecast

Nov. 28 (Bloomberg)
By Carlos Torres
http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=10000087&refer=
top_world_news&sid=aOOMP_Qv3Qbs

In accordance with Title 17 U.S.C. Section 107, this material is distributed without profit to those who have expressed a prior interest in receiving the included information for research and educational purposes.

Rising mortgage rates and skyrocketing prices put home-buying out of reach for more Americans in October, a new report showed.

Sales of previously owned U.S. homes fell a greater-than- expected 2.7 percent last month to a 7.09 million annual rate, the slowest since March, the National Association of Realtors said today in Washington. The number of unsold homes was the highest since April 1986.

Housing affordability, already at a 14-year low last quarter, will continue to drop and deprive the economy of a source of strength in coming months, economists said. Today’s report showed the median price rose about 17 percent over the past year to $218,000, the biggest jump in 26 years. The average 30-year fixed mortgage rate exceeded 6 percent in October and has kept rising since then.

“The peak in home sales activity is behind us,” said Richard DeKaser, chief economist at National City Corp. in Cleveland. “So far, it’s a gentle trek down.” Housing ``will present a drag for the economy,” DeKaser said.

Existing home sales fell from September’s 7.29 million annual rate. Economists surveyed by Bloomberg News forecast home resales would fall to a 7.2 million annual pace from September’s previously reported 7.28 million pace, according the median of 54 estimates. The pace reached a record 7.35 million in June.

Effect on Economy

The housing industry accounts for only about 5 percent of the U.S. economy and yet generated half of the growth in this year’s first six months and more than half of the private jobs added since 2001, Merrill Lynch & Co. said in an August report.

Resales, which account for about 85 percent of the residential real estate market, are tabulated at contract closings and reflect buying decisions made a month or two earlier. New-home sales are counted when a contract is signed, making them a better gauge of current activity, economists said.

The report on new home purchases is due tomorrow from the Commerce Department. Sales are forecast to fall to a 1.2 million annual pace, from 1.222 million in September, according to the median estimate of economists surveyed by Bloomberg News.

Homebuilder shares fell today. A Standard & Poor’s index of 16 builders including Centex Corp. and D.R. Horton Inc. dropped 29.5 points, or 3.2 percent, as of 2:35 p.m. in New York.

Sales of previously owned homes would have been even weaker last month had it not been for gains the areas of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Houston, reflecting demand from people displaced by Hurricane Katrina. The Realtors group said sales would have declined 3.2 percent in October to a 7.06 million pace excluding sales in response to the hurricane.

Median Price

``The housing sector has likely passed its peak,” said David Lereah, chief economist at the National Association of Realtors, during a press conference. ``The boom is winding down to an expansion. Housing activity is still healthy.”

The median price rose to $218,000 last month from $187,000 in October 2004, the Realtors’ group said. The year-over-year increase was the biggest since July 1979. The median price was $213,000 in September.

Sales of single-family homes fell 2.5 percent to a 6.23 million annual pace in October. Sales of condos and co-ops fell 4.4 percent to an 862,000 annual pace.

``The evidence keeps piling up that the housing market is slowing moderately,” said Scott Anderson, senior economist at Wells Fargo & Co. in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in an interview. ``We certainly think housing will weigh on GDP growth next year.”

Supply of Homes

Sales were lower in all four regions. They dropped 7.4 percent in the Northeast to a 1.12 million-unit pace, 1.9 percent in the Midwest to a rate of 1.58 million units, 1.8 percent in the South to 2.76 million units, and 1.2 percent in the West to 1.64 million units.

The supply of homes available for sale, another gauge of housing demand, rose to 2.87 million in October from 2.77 million. Supply represented 4.9 months’ worth at the current sales pace, up from 4.6 months’ worth the previous month.

The rate on a 30-year fixed mortgage averaged 6.07 percent in October, the highest monthly average since June 2004, from 5.77 percent a month earlier, according to Freddie Mac, the No. 2 purchaser of home loans behind Fannie Mae. The rate reached a two-year high of 6.37 percent two weeks ago.

Rising rates and higher prices caused the Realtors’ group affordability index to drop to 117.8 in the third quarter, the lowest since the third quarter of 1991. Still, figures greater than 100 suggest households have the income needed to purchase a property at the median home price.

Outlook for Growth

``The housing market had remained robust, although a slowing in house price gains in some areas and recent declines in home equity lending at banks could be indicating that the long-expected cooling in the housing market was near,” Federal Reserve policy makers said in the minutes of their Nov. 1 meeting released last week.

A more pronounced slowing in housing than most economists expect could be the catalyst for the central bank to lower their interest rate target in early 2007, according to economists at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in New York. The Fed targets the rate at which banks lend money to each other overnight, also called the federal funds rate.

A slowdown in housing could slice as much as 1.5 percentage points from economic growth in the next couple of years, according to a Nov. 18 report by Goldman Sachs economists Jan Hatzius and Monica Fuentes. ``This would probably be enough to persuade Fed officials to cut their federal funds target” in 2007, said Hatzius and Fuentes.

The risks to the economy posed by the housing market aren’t lost on Ben Bernanke, the White House nominee to succeed Alan Greenspan as Fed chairman.

Fed

A slowdown in housing prices that isn’t ``too sharp,” ``should be consistent with the modest cooling of growth that many forecasters expect over the next year or so,” Bernanke said last week in written responses to questions posed by Senator Jim Bunning, the lone Banking Committee member to vote against his nomination. A sharper slowdown, which he said is less likely, ``would have a larger effect on the growth of real output.”

``It’s not the beginning of the end as we see it,” said Joel Rassman, chief financial officer of Toll Brothers Inc., the largest U.S. builder of luxury homes, in a Nov. 14 interview. ``Most of our markets are strong. They’re just not as strong as last year.”

Earlier this month Toll lowered its forecast of the number of homes it will sell in fiscal 2006 to 9,500 to 10,200, from the 10,200 to 10,600 it projected on Aug. 25.

Congress Arrives at A Deal on Patriot Act

Limits Would Spare Some Controversial Government Powers

By Jonathan Weisman
Washington Post Staff Writer
Thursday, November 17, 2005; A01
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/11/16
/AR2005111601047_pf.html

In accordance with Title 17 U.S.C. Section 107, this material is distributed without profit to those who have expressed a prior interest in receiving the included information for research and educational purposes.

House and Senate negotiators reached a tentative agreement yesterday on revisions to the USA Patriot Act that would limit some of the government's powers while requiring the Justice Department to provide a better accounting of its secret requests for information on ordinary citizens.

But the agreement would leave intact some of the most controversial provisions of the anti-terrorism law, such as government access to library and bookstore records in terrorism probes, and would extend only limited new rights to the targets of such searches.

For President Bush, renewal of the act would provide a boost as he looks to restore his image as a strong commander in chief in combating terrorism. And Democrats said yesterday that the administration largely got what it wanted -- a major break after lawmakers challenged the White House in recent days on the conduct of the Iraq war, budget policies and tax cuts.

The deal would make permanent 14 Patriot Act provisions that were set to expire at the end of the year. Three other measures -- including one allowing law enforcement agents access to bookstore and public library records -- would be extended for seven years, or three years longer than the Senate had agreed to. The House initially extended the provisions for 10 years but later voted to accept the Senate's four-year extension.

Also extended for seven years is a provision allowing roving wiretaps that follow an individual who may use multiple means of communication, rather than targeting a single phone line. The agreement also extends for seven years a provision of a separate intelligence law passed last year that allows federal investigators to track an individual not connected to a foreign government but suspected of operating as a "lone wolf" terrorist.

The compromise would weaken a block of House-approved death penalty provisions that had elicited concern in the Senate and in legal circles. In the event that a jury could not agree to impose the death penalty on a convicted terrorist, House Judiciary Committee Chairman F. James Sensenbrenner (R-Wis.) had hoped to empower prosecutors to impanel a new jury. The deal also excludes a House proposal to allow a death penalty for terrorist offenses that "create grave risk of death."

The agreement does extend the federal death penalty to those who knowingly transport materials used in a deadly terrorist attack, those who help plot a deadly attack on a mass-transit system, and those who participate in a deadly attack on ships and maritime facilities.

Republicans and Democrats said the agreement is a victory for Sensenbrenner, who defended the expanded government powers enacted after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks. Civil libertarians and liberal Democrats lamented the deal as another blow to individual rights. And three Democratic senators and three GOP senators declared the agreement unacceptable last night.

"Is Congress standing up to the president? No, not on this one," said Rep. Jerrold Nadler (N.Y.), a House Judiciary Committee Democrat.

The agreement, which could go to final votes in the House and Senate before the end of the week, is Congress's first effort to revise the national security measure that became law just weeks after the Sept. 11 attacks. During last year's presidential campaign, the Patriot Act was elevated to a major political issue, showcased by Bush as a sign of strength in the face of terrorism but maligned by many Democrats as an abuse of power. Hundreds of local governments have passed resolutions decrying the law as an infringement of civil liberties.

When Congress turned to reauthorizing the measure this year, there were bipartisan calls for major changes. House and Senate negotiators have agreed to limit the government's powers in some areas, while rebuffing Bush administration requests for new subpoena powers.

But on balance, the compromise sides with a stronger government hand when terrorism investigations clash with civil liberties concerns.

But Congress does not look ready to hand Bush all of the sweeping powers it was willing to grant in 2001. Negotiators refused to back the administration's request for administrative subpoenas, which would have expanded the government's power to subpoena records without the approval of a judge or grand jury in terrorism investigations. Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Pat Roberts (R-Kan.) called that "a serious mistake," saying the government already has such powers to investigate non-security issues such as Medicare fraud.

"We can do it for a dirty doctor but not a dirty bomber," he said.

While the government would retain access to library, bookstore and business records, the FBI would face new limits on the retention and dissemination of such information.

The compromise also places new controls on the FBI's use of "national security letters," which require companies to provide private information about their customers and to keep the request secret. The Patriot Act allowed the FBI to use such letters on any citizen it deemed relevant to a national security investigation, even if the target is not suspected of any wrong-doing.

A Nov. 6 article in The Washington Post revealed that loosened restrictions in the Patriot Act helped boost the annual use of such letters 100-fold, to more than 30,000 a year from about 300 before the Sept. 11 attacks.

Under the compromise, the Justice Department would have to disclose the number of requests it made for information concerning different targeted people in the United States, but not including the communications subscriber information that makes up the bulk of such requests.

Those who receive such letters would be allowed to consult a lawyer and challenge the requests under a new judicial review process.

But critics said those controls were more cosmetic than real. A recipient wishing to reveal only the receipt of a security letter would have to prove that disclosure would not harm national security or diplomatic relations or endanger any lives or public safety, while the government can merely assert disclosure would have those effects.

In accordance with Title 17 U.S.C. Section 107, this material is distributed without profit to those who have expressed a prior interest in receiving the included information for research and educational purposes.

A White House document shows that executives from big oil companies met with Vice President Cheney's energy task force in 2001 -- something long suspected by environmentalists but denied as recently as last week by industry officials testifying before Congress.

The document, obtained this week by The Washington Post, shows that officials from Exxon Mobil Corp., Conoco (before its merger with Phillips), Shell Oil Co. and BP America Inc. met in the White House complex with the Cheney aides who were developing a national energy policy, parts of which became law and parts of which are still being debated.

In a joint hearing last week of the Senate Energy and Commerce committees, the chief executives of Exxon Mobil Corp., Chevron Corp. and ConocoPhillips said their firms did not participate in the 2001 task force. The president of Shell Oil said his company did not participate "to my knowledge," and the chief of BP America Inc. said he did not know.

Chevron was not named in the White House document, but the Government Accountability Office has found that Chevron was one of several companies that "gave detailed energy policy recommendations" to the task force. In addition, Cheney had a separate meeting with John Browne, BP's chief executive, according to a person familiar with the task force's work; that meeting is not noted in the document.

The task force's activities attracted complaints from environmentalists, who said they were shut out of the task force discussions while corporate interests were present. The meetings were held in secret and the White House refused to release a list of participants. The task force was made up primarily of Cabinet-level officials. Judicial Watch and the Sierra Club unsuccessfully sued to obtain the records.

Sen. Frank Lautenberg (D-N.J.), who posed the question about the task force, said he will ask the Justice Department today to investigate. "The White House went to great lengths to keep these meetings secret, and now oil executives may be lying to Congress about their role in the Cheney task force," Lautenberg said.

Lea Anne McBride, a spokeswoman for Cheney, declined to comment on the document. She said that the courts have upheld "the constitutional right of the president and vice president to obtain information in confidentiality."

The executives were not under oath when they testified, so they are not vulnerable to charges of perjury; committee Democrats had protested the decision by Commerce Chairman Ted Stevens (R-Alaska) not to swear in the executives. But a person can be fined or imprisoned for up to five years for making "any materially false, fictitious or fraudulent statement or representation" to Congress.

Alan Huffman, who was a Conoco manager until the 2002 merger with Phillips, confirmed meeting with the task force staff. "We met in the Executive Office Building, if I remember correctly," he said.

A spokesman for ConocoPhillips said the chief executive, James J. Mulva, had been unaware that Conoco officials met with task force staff when he testified at the hearing. The spokesman said that Mulva was chief executive of Phillips in 2001 before the merger and that nobody from Phillips met with the task force.

Exxon spokesman Russ Roberts said the company stood by chief executive Lee R. Raymond's statement in the hearing. In a brief phone interview, former Exxon vice president James Rouse, the official named in the White House document, denied the meeting took place. "That must be inaccurate and I don't have any comment beyond that," said Rouse, now retired.

Ronnie Chappell, a spokesman for BP, declined to comment on the task force meetings. Darci Sinclair, a spokeswoman for Shell, said she did not know whether Shell officials met with the task force, but they often meet members of the administration. Chevron said its executives did not meet with the task force but confirmed that it sent President Bush recommendations in a letter.

The person familiar with the task force's work, who requested anonymity out of concern about retribution, said the document was based on records kept by the Secret Service of people admitted to the White House complex. This person said most meetings were with Andrew Lundquist, the task force's executive director, and Cheney aide Karen Y. Knutson.

According to the White House document, Rouse met with task force staff members on Feb. 14, 2001. On March 21, they met with Archie Dunham, who was chairman of Conoco. On April 12, according to the document, task force staff members met with Conoco official Huffman and two officials from the U.S. Oil and Gas Association, Wayne Gibbens and Alby Modiano.

On April 17, task force staff members met with Royal Dutch/Shell Group's chairman, Sir Mark Moody-Stuart, Shell Oil chairman Steven Miller and two others. On March 22, staff members met with BP regional president Bob Malone, chief economist Peter Davies and company employees Graham Barr and Deb Beaubien.

Toward the end of the hearing, Lautenberg asked the five executives: "Did your company or any representatives of your companies participate in Vice President Cheney's energy task force in 2001?" When there was no response, Lautenberg added: "The meeting . . . "

"No," said Raymond.

"No," said Chevron Chairman David J. O'Reilly.

"We did not, no," Mulva said.

"To be honest, I don't know," said BP America chief executive Ross Pillari, who came to the job in August 2001. "I wasn't here then."

"But your company was here," Lautenberg replied.

"Yes," Pillari said.

Shell Oil president John Hofmeister, who has held his job since earlier this year, answered last. "Not to my knowledge," he said.

As it's noted down in lifes general instruction morality guide, from The HD Supreme's scribblings; Love thy neighbour was a hard ting to do for a rich man.

Perhaps, as some others were seemingly considering, Richard was hinting that the Japanese in their own language were reporting different or more detailed information than in the english version?

More of the specifically American filtering and obfuscation.

It reminded me of the story of Dr. David Suzuki and his peers making complaint in Australia at a press release about Larsen's Ledge and its inevetable brake off. Their key chastisement was the U.S. not conveying the information to the larger public as many other 1st world countries were rightly doing.

It is truly madening for many to see such an inherently decent country, being so tainted and acting in such stupidity, in the face of some of this world's most respected thinkers and the requirement to do what is openly right.
Will the vast majority of intelligent American's rise up and squish this current Psychosis of the present Governing body?
Living next door in Canada, we have seen the extent of their foolishness with regards to us in a variety of areas.

Here's a good example:
Martin lectures Bush at international summit on U.S. protectionism

BUSAN, South Korea (CP) - Prime Minister Paul Martin used an international summit to lecture U.S. President George W. Bush about protectionism on softwood lumber Friday, labelling it a threat to global free trade.

In a four-country leaders' meeting during the Asia-Pacific summit, Martin told Bush that U.S. tariffs on lumber send a warning to smaller countries considering trade deals with Washington. Martin intervened as the leaders of Canada, U.S., Mexico and Peru discussed building a Free Trade Area of the Americas and knocking down trade barriers at the World Trade Organization.

He argued that American behaviour in the softwood dispute runs contrary to its goal of liberalized trade.

"Look, if the higher good of the United States is to have a free trade agreement of the Americas or free trade here (in the Pacific Rim) people are going to look askance if those agreements - once signed - are not honoured," is how Martin summed up his message.

"I told him, 'The problem you Americans have is if you can't agree with your best ally - Canada - and you have the same problem with Mexico, how are you going to convince the rest of Latin America that it's a good idea?' "

He said U.S. softwood tariffs violate the spirit of free trade and leaders will be leery of liberalized trade if the Americans don't honour the agreements they already have.

"We're not going to have free trade of the Americas if that's the precedent that's been established, we're not going to have free trade throughout the Asia-Pacific if that's what occurs. Nor indeed are we going to have a successful WTO round."

Then it gets strange. It's very difficult physics even for someone like me who thinks everything the Education system was teaching was propaganda. He talks about disabling mechanical devices like a revolver mechanism using Star Trek teck and cloaking "anything" (Iapetus?) to make it appear invisible. Yahhhhhhhhhhhh...LOL

DarkWood,

Heiser did the correct analysis of the words Elohim and Nephilim in a PDF probably still found on Heisers site. It is correct, if compared to the body of ancient literature of most past races, all showing that Eloheim and Nephilim could not be humans, people or anything like that. They could have been the traditional Archetype of cosmology. An Archetype is a precursor form of the fully manifested life form, which is the way forms develope. It is involved with isomerism, concomitant developement and henotheism.

Another question has recently surfaced and it is directed toward Heisers PDF analysis. The question casts doubt upon the supposed modern dictionary used to interpret the Hebrew language used in the PDF's. This may be a misapplied question which might have been correctly applied to another researcher, William Henry, in his use of that said, modern dictionary. However, the doubt was raised against Heiser and I will not be sure until it is solved. If you have any intelligence to add about the Heiser PDF's, it would be appriciated.

In any case, a reading of Quartum Organum will solve the riddle. Heiser, if correct in his Eloheim and Nephilim analysis, is much closer than the others.

to Crypt0: Been wanting to say this for a long time, now's as good as any.

In Asia, the Interlocking BOD is alive and well, thank you.

These "nominated members" are usually minor politicians put in place to make a soft (if not in-your-face) takeover of lucrative businesses by Government Linked companies (ultimately controlled by the ruling political party). Refusal to accept these parasites will lead to disastrous consequences for the owners.

There can be hilarious results; one (incompetent dummy) guy was actually on more than 70 boards. But no one dares ask why, because it may be the reason to have one's income tax records for the past 20 years being re-checked again and hauled to court, or worse, to be sued for hundreds of thousands of US dollars for slander (lese majeste, more like it)

But make no mistake; the tentacles of Big(ger) Brother have sunk well and deep in corporate Asia. Private business are slowly being killed by these (interlocked) companies. Your worst fears are confirmed.

From my non-denominational perspective I currently see the Christ story
as a kind of 'alternate' main thread to the bible with the 'real' stuff
actually being about a philosophy of life, clues about the true workings
of the body and consciousness, and generally a whole different perspective
on that text that, I guess, has come to be known as "the bible code".

Monkey Wrench,
Hi. re: Elohim and Nfl, what you indicate may be true, but if there is any truth to be gleaned from the various writings (in AND out of The Bible) and that they did produce offspring, then there MUST have been some pretty close genetic matches. But then I have always thought that there was a difference, and that the reason 'god' was mad at them was because there were some 'defective' offspring in the mix and not just giants. God and the biblical prophets seemed to focus a lot on 'the blood', and if the Elo and NFL screwed up the works...well, it would make even a 'god' angry! eh?

November 29, 2005 -- British mercenary firm with Pentagon contracts exposed in civilian shooting incident in Iraq. A souvenir video has surfaced on the Internet showing private security contractors working for Aegis Defense Services "Victory" Group firing indiscriminately at Iraqi civilian motorists in Baghdad. The video was reportedly taken by an Aegis employee and posted on a web site run by an ex-Aegis employee. The video has since been removed from the site. The video contains four clips showing Aegis mercenaries firing at civilian automobiles. The video's soundtrack includes Elvis Presley's "Train I Ride." Aegis is run by former British Scots Guard officer Lt. Col. Tim Spicer, an international mercenary who has been involved in UN sanctions busting in Sierra Leone and Bougainville invasion planning in Papua New Guinea. Spicer's firm, Aegis, was awarded a $293 million security contract in Iraq. Spicer's men also stand accused of shooting teenager Peter McBride in the back in Belfast in 1992. That has prompted a number of members of the Irish Caucus in the Congress to demand the Pentagon withdraw its contract to Aegis. The Pentagon has rejected such action.

Aegis maintains its head office in London's Picadilly. It is also reported to have an office on K Street in Washington, DC.

The Pentagon has had a longstanding relationship with Spicer. The Pentagon's love affair with mercenary firms began in the 1990s when they were viewed with favor for their military activities, including sanctions busting, in Africa. Under the Clinton administration, mercenary firms blossomed. Under George W. Bush, they have flourished. On June 24, 1997, the Defense Intelligence Agency sponsored a seminar titled "The Privatization of National Security Functions in Sub-Saharan Africa." This conference ushered in the present cooperation between mercenaries, oil companies, diamond and other mineral companies, U.S. intelligence agencies, the military, and non-government organizations (NGOs), including the always suspect Human Rights Watch, an NGO that often obscures and obfuscates important facts, as it did with the causality of the Rwandan genocide and as it is currently doing with regard to offering an incomplete list of CIA prisoner aircraft in Europe.

WMR has obtained the attendee list [Page One Page Two] for the 1997 Pentagon mercenary seminar. Spicer attended along with two colleagues from Sandline International (for which Spicer served as CEO), a mercenary firm that had already been implicated in illegal Sierra Leone and Papua New Guinea operations.

Mercenary firms, which in neo-con "Newspeak" are referred to as "Private Military Contractors," "Private Security Contractors (PSCs), and Personal Security Details/Detachments (PSDs), are viewed by informed observers as the future military forces that will continue to protect US business interests in Iraq after the planned withdrawal of a large number of U.S. troops next year. These companies are not governed by any military regulations or international legal constraints. According to informed sources within the security contractor community, three U.S. firms, Phoenix, Anteon, and Sytex, should be looked at closely by U.S. authorities for their interrogation operations in Iraq. Sytex is currently advertising for interrogators for the US Central Command's Area of Responsibility (AOR), which includes Iraq and Afghanistan. Military interrogators who were charged with sexually humiliating prisoners at Guantanamo and Iraq are now working for firms like Anteon and Phoenix Consulting Group.

TB2012,
These private firms, composed mostly of US Government trained people, are the perfect pawns to enable governments to have plausible deniability. While Herr Rumsfield can get on TV and say "US troops are not engaging in torture", the private operators, working hand i hand with our troops, are doing the dirty work. So while technically true and not a lie by Herr Rummy or others, the spirit of the law is being broken.

IonTru02, is that normal?

17 degree shift, does that happen a lot up there?

I've been observing the weather channel reporting something like 30 degree changes in less than 48 hours in quite a few places...

Apocolyptic Meterological Thermostat has just 'pinged', Epsilon says it's ready...

IonTruO2-->Not too often but it has occurred. But today feels a little strange, and its a bit late for Indian Summer.
I had heard a story a few years ago, that one of the reasons we Canadians were "respected" in the world in general, wasn't because of the misquitos or other factures like politics or politeness but because of our radical weather that we are able to handle. It was a flexible hardiness thing. Go figure?!
I have personally experienced going from 28C(HOT!) to -28C(superf'ing cold!) in 12 hours.

Perhaps, as some others were seemingly considering, Richard was hinting that the Japanese in their own language were reporting different or more detailed information than in the english version?

you said: Precisely! That is exactly what I'm thinking linking to an original language site is all about.

I'm also experiencing 30 degree weather shifts. Yesterday it was 70, today it's 40 with howling Gothic novel class winds. This is not exactly normal even for a place where people say "dont like the weather? wait five minutes." So now we have Epsilon, just as long as its not Tropical Storm Omega!

iontruo--> Where are you? I know what you mean about the winds!
We are spared that this week but last week was fierce!! Wish I was a horse weighing 1300lbs.

Gotcha, on the Japanese angle! Richard is a clever man and perhaps we may glean an insight there with the translation avenue.
I am certain his first pic was to show an archeological artifact poking out the ground dead center of the shot. Its so blatant, all I did was just magnify about three times. His first link which was to english also had a few well chosen words that caught me. Lets be vigilent and see what comes.

Additional thought:

Considering so much of what we are seeing now seems to be relating in some way to Electromagnetics and EM devices and weather control by EM, here is a link to a report pertaining to an EMP attack strategy. In it there is also a section on the geo-magnetic storm in 1989 that took out Quebec's hydro.

Worth a read perhaps:

Did he own building 7 also? Talk about forced eviction. Oh yes, a building opportunity!! More money!! (use accent) :)
I also had a hunch from day 1 that Y2K was nothing more than a prep before to "move" data off site. To get everyone to back up their systems.

Here's something that I have to mention. This morning at work, guy

been on the roof watching contrails being made when he noticed a glimmer
over near one of the trails, following a trail were 2 disc (elongated

description. I can attest to him being visibly excited by what he'd
just seen. He used the word 'incredible' etc. as well. I realize now
though that I need him to go over it again. There are trails here,
fanning out in all directions. Long range forcast calling for rain
on the weekend. Air quality here taking a huge turn for the worse
as the day w/ odd chemtrails progresses. I'll post more about the 2
lighted circles following the contrail making plane. I have no reason
to not believe that he saw something very unusual. -Bryan

iontruo2--> Now isn't that interesting!! Didn't know that. Your saying it actually says that it was slated for Demolition?!?!

They sure seem to like that year 2025, it keeps popping up. Maybe in advance of 2012, he thought he would "cash out" and get ready. Being that New York is in a generally vulnerable place for tsunamis and incoming really big rocks!
Thanks for the link.

iontruo2--> Very good point. Attack becomes a bit of a messy term as well. It could mean quite a number of things. Thus my thought on EM issues all together.
From that article if anyone is interested, I tuned into a reference to the "North American Reliability Councel" NERC, which does at first glance appear to be about electricity but I'm studying further. Remember "hiding in plane sight".

I'm curious if much of this weather recently is to "blanket" us with cloud cover, diffusing built up excess energy in the system through the rain, with wind as an indicator?
Perhaps some atmospheric sheilding?
I know there is no major solar eruptions going on but we had previously seen reference to a new kind of wavelength coming in and goodness the ozone is as holey as Swiss Cheese. My feeling recently was I could hardly remember a day in three weeks that was clear sky with straight sunshine and we get some pretty clear days here usually.
This is just thinking out loud, with a twist of hunches, but I felt it good food for our considerations.

He knows that we have been into some GIANT discussions lately, and he also knows that he has left us hanging with many of his own posts.

So what gives? Why is someone updating the main website, but cannot post a litte message such as "Richard is on Vacation". Seriously it would take the guy all of 30 seconds to post a little message saying "hey, i'm alive, tied up in serious business, get back to you all later, stay tuned!"

When you foster a large audience like this, a certain amount of responsibility comes long with it. Richard has seriously dropped the ball and has showed me how unimportant the work we all do here really is to him. He has left me no other alternative but to think this way.

68-01: FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE , April 26, 2001

PORT AUTHORITY TO LEASE WORLD TRADE CENTER TO SILVERSTEIN PROPERTIES, INC. AND WESTFIELD AMERICA, INC.

Governor George E. Pataki said, “When I became Governor, one of my first goals was privatization of this world-famous symbol of the vitality and economic might of the New York region. I am proud to announce that my administration has delivered. This is the largest real estate transaction in New York City history, and one of the largest privatizations ever of a government asset. This agreement allows the private sector to bring its expertise to managing this landmark, and it frees Port Authority resources for improvements in airports, tunnels and bridges and other parts of the region’s transportation network.”

Acting Governor Donald T. DiFrancesco said, "The net lease of the World Trade Center will allow the Port Authority to maintain its revenue stream from the complex, while helping the agency to refocus on the transportation and trade projects in both states that constitute its primary mission

I know how you feel. Right now, there does not seem to be an indication that he has a serious illness, unless he does and doesn't want anybody to know about it. From the nature of the updates on TEM, I am starting to wonder if maybe Robin is taking care of it for him.
Then, there is always the possibility that he has been "brought into the fold". He may have seen the light and decided to run for some political office as a republican. If that is the case, they may require him to undergo some kind of "purification" whereby he needs to keep his hands off the blog and not be associated with it (and us "Bush bashers") in any way, making only mainstream comments about space exploration and , last but not least, say and think NICE thoughts about Dubya.

IonTruO2--I hear ya brother!! If we can post many replies in mere seconds, what gives? Thats partly why I sensed something else at play. It could be Richard is shallow and self serving, but I don't get that feeling. Its just my insight, but following a few series of postings at that time, I was brought to wonder if we started getting a little TOO close to the Way of things. It also would not be the first time these fellows have been threatened or worse, so I stayed with my gut on the notion he was silenced by someone or something. It was far too abrupt and sudden in mid momentum with the Blog. No sign of a trickle off of his interest, just blam, gone.
Was it SWORD, Naudin, Bearden, Chenier? We had even found some telling patents and letters to people with detailed specifics. What about that premise of Richard being in the Anti-Grav Group now? Thus my earlier joke about him being made to tow the line(the anti-grav line), so they could remain free(and alive) to pursue further developments.
Could you imagine, Naudin's little "hobby" web site with the "model" projects of the anti-grav triangular "Lifters" and "scalar EM emitters" all of sudden getting 10-50,000+ hits more than usual? I think it would ring alarm bells at some level.
If he/we indeed had a quiet audience at his Blog of 2 million viewers or so in a month, you can imagine how many others watching might have visited some of the links we had posted at our peak flow of info amongst each other. We has serious velocity happening at that time! Even the Mars anomolies in pictures found, were popping up like tullips in the Spring!
Rather than shut it down and us out, I had joke they should have paid us and gave us a job, if not for our entertainment value.
We obviously weren't a real threat, maybe just a little too good/too soon, at our humble home research. :)
SWORD had said that more than a few times, He was TOO SOON. Maybe we were as well. Kind of ruining the timeline, perhaps?

Anyways, I feel your frustration, and I hope we have some answers soon, RCH seemed like a good guy with a decent heart and a true disire for truth and right conduct.
Time Will Tell.

No offence dear friend.
You had nudged the ol Capt. in a "knowing" way a few times, and I felt him pucker, so I lumped you in my question innocently.

I didn't really know much about Bearden let alone if he and Richard were friends or such, but some of the material I did find at that, seem to sizzle hot to me. Much of it was exactly on our topic of weather control methods and ultra tech in general.
I had few nerves at times with some of the patents and documents I found even though they were all "unclassified" or at lest unrestricted. Inlcuding some strange computer behaviour.
But that does bring to mind the vibe I felt change when we had that character "Clandestine"(I think?) appear with his story about how they were working and with the mobile units.
That stuck out big time for me as a sudden turning point.

Hi,

NASA ROVER HELPS REVEAL POSSIBLE SECRETS OF MARTIAN LIFE

Scientists have been able to deduce conditions in the Meridiani Planum region of Mars were sometimes wet, strongly acidic and oxidizing. Those conditions probably posed stiff challenges to the origin of Martian life.

Based on Opportunity's data, nine papers by 60 researchers in volume 240, issue 1 of the journal Earth and Planetary Science Letters discuss what this part of the Martian Meridiani Planum region was like eons ago. The papers present comparisons to some harsh habitats on Earth and examine the ramifications for possible life on Mars.

Scientists analyzed data about stacked sedimentary rock layers 23 feet thick, exposed inside "Endurance Crater." They identified three divisions within the stack. The lowest, oldest portion had the signature of dry sand dunes; the middle portion, windblown sheets of sand with all the particles produced in part by previous evaporation of liquid water. The upper portion corresponded to layers Opportunity found earlier inside a smaller crater near its landing site.

Materials in all three divisions were wet both before and after the layers were deposited by either wind or water. Researchers described chemical evidence that the sand grains deposited in the layers had been altered by water before the layers formed. Scientists analyzed how acidic water moving through the layers after they were in place caused changes such as the formation of hematite-rich spherules within the rocks.

The stack of layers in Endurance Crater resulted from a changeable environment perhaps 3.5 to 4 billion years ago. The area may have looked like salt flats occasionally holding water, surrounded by dunes. The White Sands region in New Mexico bears a similar physical resemblance. "For the chemistry and mineralogy of the environment, an acidic river basin named Rio Tinto, in Spain, provides useful similarities," said Dr. David Fernandez-Remolar of Spain's Centro de Astrobiologia.

Many types of microbes live in the Rio Tinto environment, one of the reasons for concluding that ancient Meridiani could have been habitable. However, the organisms at Rio Tinto are descended from populations that live in less acidic and stressful habitats. If Meridiani had any life, it might have had to originate in a different habitat.

2003 EL61 is one of the strangest known objects in the solar system. It is a big across as Pluto, but shaped like a cigar. Or perhaps like a football [American-style]. Or, most accurately, a foot ball that has too little air in it and has been stepped on. It spins on its axis every 4 hours like a football that has been kicked. It appears to be made almost entirely of rock, but with a glaze of ice over the surface. And it is surrounded by two satellites.

Todays weather - Biblical...

yes today is going to be proportioned scripturally as per Revelation;

We are going to see apocolyptic winds, knee cap oil companies in the gulf...

terrifying vaccums of death sweep across much of the central states...

And hailstorms in much of the latter weak, if you make it through the full 7 days of Skull ringing, Thunder...

As December is starting in a day of so, we might like to highlight our early seasonal forecast;

Volcanoes in the early part of our pretty festival will start popping like party crackers at fataly surprising places...

etc...

An Armageddon-it, weather report.

"Unipax, you said... Hello iontru02!

any way back to the subject...

Cory, missed ya; some thoughts on ya words:

So what gives? Why is someone updating the main website, but cannot post a litte message such as "Richard is on Vacation". Seriously it would take the guy all of 30 seconds to post a little message saying "hey, i'm alive, tied up in serious business, get back to you all later, stay tuned!"

Maybe he is all tied up, or has been. Was thinking bout this today on the mi beach stroll, picking up driftwood for di fire at da breezy mellow sandy rum shac......

that if he has been 'gotten to' or in some way, coerced, into silence. then his sudden silence would be more of a telling sign of a larger more worried 'OH NO' audience.

The OH F*Ck audience, just reading along, are finding ways to stop this mutual flow of outward truthful expression.

What if the, let's call them MIB crowd, are worried over our easy community style, locked mental syncrony and general exposing of all the scabbed up sores of TRUTH.

Our research, has turned up a LOT of deeply interesting, if not prosecutable evidence.

Evidence that NASA is ritually adhering to some ancient masonic religous poohbah priest, who satanicaly is recanting egyptian 555 foot pecker pole worship...

That alone would be tugging on a 333 foot rafter, protuding obviously from their lying greedy, nefarious disinforming eejit rabbit in headlike eyes...

If NASA were worried about our exposure, censoring us from their own users internally...

IF the Goverment were worried, that a fella on the internet wants an online showdown, about Bush's architecture of masonic free and otherwise greedy oil driven lunacy, the McDonalds Fast Food greasy ca$h laden Democracy...

When also that same fella is holding plans to make a water fueled electricity generator... looking at the bunk and lies that oil companies have been keeping us back with to serve their fat bellied pork barelled life styles...

Then Richard probably was taken aside to see if we would disapate?

Maybe, as the freedom of speach and the freeness of adults to view or not this blog, suggests, that we have taken off and are crusing at a carefree Mach 9...

with some serious thinkers aboard...

"When you foster a large audience like this, a certain amount of responsibility comes long with it. Richard has seriously dropped the ball and has showed me how unimportant the work we all do here really is to him."

hi hi hi

personally, I didn't know you could download the chess pieces individually...

but he will be back!

Eventually, in the mean time the crew will search high and blinking low till we have him back in one or a few pieces, alive if possible...

[cue Star trek theme...]

[uncue it, uncue it..gosh darn it...]

ok catching up, was a good cycle down to the rum shack...

Da rain bugs are out tonight here, flying teeth, they are. Can't seem, tiny black dots, but you feel like you've been bitten by a pitbull.

Wearing bug spray, is like putting on come get me you blood sucking flying pins cologne!

They eat tourists alive... which by the way is amusing to watch, they get drunk during da day, then whenna da 'no-see-ems' come out, they looks like a pin cushion the next day, sore whew!!!

Yes, these are the countries where we aquit violent murderers and robbers because they didn't get a speedy trial or we let them out in "2 years less a day", yet we(especially U.S.) throw the Cannabis growers in jail for 10-15 years for nothing other than growing the plant or for simple "possession".

ATM Skimmers or Lebanese Loops
ATM Skimmers are devices used to steal your ATM card or the information on it, as well as the Personal Identification Number (PIN) associated with that card. One type of skimmer is a thin, transparent-plastic overlay on an ATM keypad that captures keystrokes as they are typed while another transparent device inside the card slot captures data from the magnetic strip on the inserted card. Other skimmers are larger and fit over the entire face of the ATM.

Just another thing to be paranoid about. I'll add it to the list. :-(

Here we are Nov 29 05 still speculating about RCH's October 20 disappearance from his blog and crew.
I still find it at least interesting that his disappearance coincided with Clan Destine's controversial first post, at 6:49 pm, on October 20.
Richard's last post was just five minutes later, at 6:54 pm. It seemed there was nothing unusual in his last comment. He was responding to an idea from Jason about storm manipulation and interpretation of tuning forks in radar imagery.
Also that nite, RCH had speculated about HD / Scalar operations working the hurricane from the Nicaraguan jungle, just as Clan Destine described.
Richard was usually up into the wee hours, posting on the blog. That night he just stopped at 6:54 pm.
Did Richard get a phone call ten minutes after some eyebrows were raised by Clan Destine's post ?
Would that fit the 'National Security' theory about the drama ?
Was the whole thing just set up to look like that's what happened?

If anyone wants to read those two posts from Clan Destine and Richard, they are pasted into our comments under the JFK post, here:

The WTC was scheduled for demolition during the Silverstein lease read lease agreement. I believe it was 2025. His insurance kick back was to cover the losses over the "lease period."

I'm not seeing the source which indicated the WTC would be demolished in any links I have seen here. I have read, however, that it had issues ie. heavily overloaded with asbestoes and that it may have been slated for demo but I can't find a link. The 99 year lease that was signed by Silverstein seems to indicate that it was not slated to be demolished so ..I'm on hold here............

That's why one should "Feel" for the Father.
Heart centered awareness "sees" with all clarity, beyond the visual prismatic display "processed" through the eyes.
For we only see, what was already a moment ago.
Yet we can Feel the Present and be the knower of the Now. The moment becomes conscious.
In biology's mechanism, we are always "delayed" by the process of sensory perception itself.
At true heart centered awareness what is immediately felt at depth is this instantaneous NOW.
No thoughtform distractions, no mental delay,
a sacred stillness of the Divine Way.

Everyone,

I have been away "on assignment." The assignment is not over, so I will be away more in the coming weeks ....

There are some significant developments taking place behind the scenes, which I hope to be able to report at the end of those ensuing weeks. :)

In the interim, I will be doing a quick "Coast" appearance on Sunday night, with George Noory. Subject: some of what's been "going on" ....

Stay tuned.

P.S. Sword, sorry to hear of your incarceration. But, I'm glad that your superiors are paying close attention to what we're doing here. There are surprises coming ... even for them. It will have been worth it. :)

Robert: there seems to be some serious progress in awakening those who could, in fact, hijack the Starship ... or, if not that, then at least the data on the EXISTENCE of the ship ....

More coming soon.

This is an EXTRAORDINARY time to be alive ....

Early in the day I posted about my co-worker spotting 2 reflective disks following
behind a chemtrail. I got a little more from him. He says they followed along the
chemtrails path, they were highly reflective oblong shapes, he could not see any
details about either very bright globe, the edges to them were sharp. Their speed was
much slower than the chem-plane, which was moving very quickly by comparison. As he
was watching these reflections they suddenly vanished. I Really don't know, wish it
had been ME that had seen them. There are a few of us at work that are watching the
plane trails here, all of us are in agreement that there's something extra in those
fuel trails. Here's a link from Rense.com of an orb seen while filming chemtrails
http://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=18812071&postID=113269817592281717&isPopup=true

...and for those who like to hang out on a limb (w/ or w/out their 'tea') there's more
lol, on trails and odd clouds. Whatever you might think about the claims, there are
some terrific cloud pictures here. I have been noting a lot of 'virga' type clouds
here and other clouds that are really stringy looking-sometimes electrically charged
in appearance. Here's a website w/ pictures of that cloud. The theory on this website
is that sylphs(lol) are busting up chemtrail damage, and that their mission
is to clean up the atmosphere... While I like to keep an open mind, seems like a stretch.
Some time ago the sylph website was coming up on the very first google page when doing
a one word search for 'chemtrails' I suspected at that time that it might be dis-info.

Go for the pictures, stay for the sylphs;
http://educate-yourself.org/cn/sylphandchemtrailindex.shtml
a lot of good pix under this sublink; http://snoedel.punt.nl/index.php?gr=673273

Since my mind has been distracted by Sylphs (our friends) and my co-workers seemingly
amazing sighting in the sky. I might as well mention another highly controversial
idea/author. I think some one else posted about him some time back,
Immanuel Velikovsky and his Worlds in Collision. Wondering sword (as I do read all
your posts-just have a hard time commenting adequately) if Velikovsky was correct
partly. Perhaps that planet is now just pieces? Here's a couple of links on
Velikovsky.
Here's one essay, the links on him are many
http://www.stephenjaygould.org/ctrl/gould_velikovsky.html
and another http://skepdic.com/velikov.html

Lots of interesting things w/ Velikovsky, I like how he took a look at the geology of
this planet for the signs of prior cataclysmic upheaval. Evidence for THAT is pockmarking
this planet for sure. In many respects he was similiar to the crew here, an un-orthodox
searcher. -Bryan

OK, pal. Let's talk. Censorship is NOT 'how we operate'. YOURS are the only posts I have deleted with the mighty B-SHOD...and that is because typically you come on here and insult and trash 2 of the crewe and I just personally dislike the way you do it. You've acted like an asshole and I have the the 'power' to do something about it.

Now, I fail to see how bohemia is disseminating any dyzinformatzya. If you can prove he did, then simply do it! Put what Bohemia or Sword said and your proof against them into one post and simply prove what you say. It's pretty damn simple. Or you can email me.

Re: Sword, I have expressed openly my reservations, but at this point be he bogus or not, he's 'family', part of the show. Plus, I may be wrong about him. I ain't THAT smart!

Now, I'll leave this last post of yours on the board, because it was less virulent that prior posts. But you either prove what you say in no uncertain terms, or I will B-SHOD you every time you post and not have one twinge of guilt or regret.

Sunking,

With no forthcoming evidence of Heiser's PDF analysis, using a modern dictionary, of the Hebrew words Eloheim and Nephilim, Im sure that his conclusions have been, and still are correct, even before a re-examination.

Blood has always been the central subject when the writer wants to show a carrier of "the life".

All Gods fall. All Gods are replaced by other Gods. All Gods have a consort female Goddess. All cosmogony is a henotheistic succession of a number of Gods and Goddesses. It is Gods fall and not our fall. All Gods have a plurality of names. Nephilim and Elohein are just two names for God. God is ruthless energy and power and is dangerous. Space produced a Sun in its Female womb and that Sun was a terrible, hellish power that can destroy. This wormhole Sun that William Henry mistakes for a Stargate, is his misinterpretation error of cosmologic mythology. The Sun IS the Star Gate through which all Gods fall into Hell, the earth. A Stargate is not located in Babylon or Iraq, for it is the Sun.

There are so many "well known" researchers who are perceived to be highly intelligent but when we ask ourselves, "how do we know they are intelligent when they appear to be our teachers and we, the unlerned students"?

The answer is that we choose to say it is true because we believe it, rather than believing it because it is true.

The Truth, "thing-in-itself", or "Ding an Sich" is beyond knowing. What we call "truth" is nothing more than "fact"as percieved by our senses, which is then processed by the catagories of our minds to become "belief". Therefore, it is meaningless to say : "The answer is that we choose to say it is true because we believe it, rather than believing it because it is true."
It is a circular statement.

This has got to be one of the most interesting places on the Net .. so many interesting comments, so little time to contribute in kind.

When I made my last post I was going to add some thoughts about the Bible, as it was being discussed, but then the thread turned to sharing images of tickling sticks, so I didn't post.
However now I will...

"Re the Bible discussions, above... around the 4th century, the Church tried to remove all references to reincarnation from the Bible (as knowledge of reincarnation would undermine their power & control) but several references slipped by....notably in the 16th chapter of Matthew, one of my favorites.

Something that has always amazed me.. Jesus was a Jew, not a Christian. He didn't come to found a new religion but to teach Jews how to correctly live the one they had, and to extend it to all people. And instead .. look what happens .. 'Christians' spend the next 19 centuries leading the persecution against the Jews & anyone else who did not accept the contorted, power-hungry interpretation of an elite group.

You just have to read the words of Jesus in the Gospels to see that the last thing He wanted was to spawn dozens of new "sects" each with their own rigid ideas about how to best use his teachings to cement their own power structure.

Geesh.... somethin' tells me a lot of so-called 'Christians' will one day have some serious 'splainen' to do.... :;"

jasgrave & others who have had disturbing 'religious' upbringing .. I know too well it can take years or decades to find your way again. The good news is, God knows how to find *you* :)

Re RCH: when I first posted on the TEM blog, I said that I thought ClanDestine & RCH could be the same person, I also said John was either CIA or British Intelligence, as "no one" could be that naive ... well I was joking of course .. or was I?
It is not too far fetched to think that RCH may have assumed another identidy, but who? Not Clandestine of course, not scarletm, not me, not sunking .. ya know, John is still the most likely suspect since... he really *is* too naive (or someone said, a 'slow learner') to be real.
However apparently *he* thinks he is real .. so ... who else?

I also wish the ones who say they think they know but can't share ... would just go ahead & share! It is maddening to hear someone say they have some answers .. but don't want to tell the others. Hey, we're family here .. you can trust us (well most of us...)

Sunking, glad you are running a tight & clean ship & keeping the ugly trolls under control. If RCH returns (as himself) hope he either uses this blog, or appoints sunking to administer the TEM one (with generous compensation, of course...)

And now, Stupid Question of the Day: where did the date Dec 10th come from? I came late to the party & have not heard reference to it outside this blog.

As Ian Punnett says,
"Deus te amat .. and so do I!"

Jas has a belief , through much numerical/biblical study that armegeddon is on the 10th of December of this year. He beilives that this is a very improtant date-what is supposed to really happen I'm not quite clear on. He can explain it-its his baby.

Cultural Wormhole
Fasten your seatbelts, put on a helmet, and prepare to go mobile -
the ride is about to get rough on the road to Ragnarok

By John Kaminski
skylax@ comcast.net
11-30-5

Any decision made out of fear is always wrong. Its major feature is those who suffer for it.

Now we have consequence piled neck high upon deception. One more big lie from the Washington war machine and we will all suffocate, it seems sometimes.

The alternative seems to be to be dead, incinerated by white phosphorus on some dusty Falluja street, or perhaps emaciated by cancer deposited inside you by your soldier-husband's uranium semen.

When you turn to your doctor, he will do one of two things: medicate you into oblivion or send you into a building inside which your life functions will be surreptitiously terminated as quickly and economically as possible.

And you start to get the hint that maybe this is all a job you should take care of yourself, because, as the old saying goes, if you don't do it, who will? And then, very likely, it won't get done, no matter how important it is.

Human society is entering a cultural wormhole within which the entire structure of its formulas for existing is being shaken to the core.

As the sinister and violent gap between spin and soul widens into drugged mass murder from the air, all humans feel the tightness in their chests as they crouch in their huts and pray to their neighborhood deities that the storm will blow over soon and won't kill them when it passes.

Like the supposed K-T boundary in archeology which furnished evidence of the meteor strike in the Yucatan 65 million years ago that killed everything on the planet larger than a chicken, what is about to happen to all of us is of inestimable magnitude.

For the last two decades, I have conjected that if the ancient legends are correctly interpreted, an exponential advance in consciousness will blossom in 2012, and things which have always existed will suddenly become visible to us. The entire context of the human species and Planet Earth will suddenly change. Some say this is already happening.

My great fear is that the controllers will be able to continue their soulless dominance of human cattle through this transition, and somehow maintain their sadistic stranglehold on human thought.

It is up to us cyberrenegades - my fellow members of the Invisible College forever battling the evil Theocrats (thank you, Kyle) - not to let that happen.

And what a great opportunity we have. I learned this from a Roy Rogers movie. Ambushes are always best in a narrow pass.

So we need a narrow pass, and wouldn't you know? There's one right in front of every person, happening right now. Get on the bus, Gus!

But more on that later. Crucially, we need to learn the contours of this golden opportunity, this cultural wormhole, as thoroughly and accurately as we can. All the great coaches know the game is won on preparation. The purpose of the game is to wrest control of the conscience of the human race (because conscience is the one thing that elevates us above other animals, as long as we are responsible to that conscience), and make sure every individual on this planet has absolute control over his or her own soul. That's how it should be, and will be, if we win.

The reason the gap between spin and soul - the brittle corporate lies that justify false wars vs. the joyous human spirit that wants to party all the time - exists is because powerful people profit from creating weapons and selling them. Then they get fools to use them so they can sell even more.

That's no fairy tale, Podnuh. That's what runs the world.

And why do we do it? To get money to have comfortable families. Or pursue our pathological penchants.

Reminds me of an old poem. "When success a lover's toil attends, few ask if fraud or force attained his ends."

But is it the way we want the world run? No freaking way.

Look what it has brought us. Masters and slaves. And that's the game we play.

So, in the wormhole, as human need collapses into exigency and happenstance, the masters have already shown their teeth, and told us what they're going to do to us. Imagine Dick Cheney's leering smile. They have told us over and over they are going to lie to us as they kill us, and they continue to do so.

Yet we live our lives as if what they do does not affect us, we turn our backs when someone intrudes on our individual realities, and continue to insist, whistling past the graveyard, that the storm will blow over.

Opportunities as yet undiscovered and unrealized must be exploited if the malignant media mindlock is to be demolished. The great hoax in the world in A.D. 2006 is that commercial exploitation threatens to demolish the very conditions by which we exist, and the vast majority of human inhabitants who could be in a position to do something about the problem are simply too lost in their delusional, self-referential existences to realize their own survival chances are poisoned by their choice of courses. Ernest Becker took it one step deeper: "Material production is the greatest evil in human history."

Hey, I like my comfortable computer chair. So I'm not advocating the return of humanity to the tree-dwelling society of the Penan in Sarawak (although I would like to confer with them about their thoughts on harmony), but I am saying that in this test time in the cultural wormhole, we should take a much harder look at the methods of indigenous living, and realize that any genuine, actualized future should involve a much closer intimacy with the planet that sustains us. Dirt under the fingernails should be a required course in every year of education.

As we wear out the planet with our follies, we must learn to live on the land like a feather. Some Indian said that. I think he was a Pawnee.

Yet in the 2006 mainstream, little girls in New York are taught to dress like whores, and in Washington, male hookers frolic at the highest levels of government, which is supported by people who worship Jehovah's wrath at evil Arab hijackers.

A wormhole, in case you've never watched Star Trek, is a theoretical concept in astronomical physics, a mysterious link between nonlocal galaxies through which one cannot predict that what goes in one end will be even remotely similar to what comes out at the other.

In the cultural wormhole, the choice is clear. Either we swallow the RFID chip in the mercury-laden vaccine for a disease that will never really come, and enjoy our robotoid pleasures like the Super Bowl, or we will kick down the Mylar wall, walk out into the sunshine, and, with forthright and compassionate behavior, build a better world - based primarily on the value of friendship and equal justice for all, not just for those who have told enough lies to have the money to be able to buy justice.

We can choose to be slaves, too. Just turn on the TV.

Oh yes, Ragnarok, an old Norse legend of the final battle of the world, fought between two priests in a field near the Rainbow Bridge. Though both are killed and the Earth is scourged with blood and mourning, a new green world emerges as the dust settles, a clean joyous community in which justice reigns and peace prevails.

Focus on that and we'll get there. Don't and we won't.

NS,

Never really heard detail on the reincarnation censoring...will have to find more about that. Sounds about par for the course, tho.

I tend to agree with the thought that Paul was a Roman agent provacateur and hijacked the teachings of Jesus for his (or Roman) purposes. I agree that what we have had for the past 2k years is NOT what Jesus had in mind.

Yes, he definitely played a major role in screwing up the original message IMO. Not sure if because of a power move or just because he had severe emotional problems of his own (some sources say he was homosexual & fought that all his life). I've started re-reading the NT lately, but try to stick to what Jesus actually said & Revelations of course.

scarletm, I know what you mean about estrogen... when they started the 'tickling stick' discussion, there was nowhere to hide (grin)

John, I posted on your blog a response to your rant ... good rant, maybe you are really you after all...

The jury is still out on that one.

I trust TV. If there was something to hide they would tell us!!

Go to sleep. The US is winning in Iraq. Everything about 911 has been investigated on TV. Science is all about making pastries and flan.

...More flan?"

I mean PLEASE, even the most asleep person on this planet...
...if it's hidable then why say ANYTHING ? ... Sorry, I know,
it took me AGES to get this spark of SATIRICAL BRILLIANCE
myself (Bill Hicks sniggers in the corner).

But. Brrrrrr! Another warm cup of tea is to be had here
in the chilly UK :-}

BTW .. I was looking at the shot above John's house on his blog & realized ... since I have been in Japan I have not seen one chemtrail. Also even tho we live in a mid sized town (not sure how many people, but I would guess 50k+) & we are 18 mi south of Yokohama, 35 mi south of Tokyo ... I am amazed at the number of birds flying around. Not pigeons or seagulls .. but hawks, falcons, other birds .. I have not seen so many & different kinds in decades. I remember, vaguely, as a child, there used to be birds everywhere. The last time I saw them in the States was when I was living on a mountaintop in the Blue Ridge between Waynesboro & Charlottesville VA. But there are still more here ... in a town .. flying among the high rise apartment buildings ...

Hmmmm.
